How to Rent

1. Walk in or reserve online.
2. Show a piece of government-issued ID and credit card to pay the deposit.
3. Pick up your kayak, canoe, paddleboard, or bike from our River House location on the Ottawa River and Enjoy your ride!
4. Pay the final bill when you return.
For your safety, all of our equipment is treated with disinfectants between each rental.

We’ve been renting bikes and running tours in Ottawa for 8 years at Escape Bike Tours and Rentals.

Paddle down the Ottawa River past Gatineau-Ottawa’s most beautiful landmarks on a kayak, canoe, or SUP (stand-up paddleboard). Or explore Gatineau Park’s rivers and lakes for a more extended adventure.

Or get on a bike and pedal through the city’s cool neighborhoods and landmarks. Enjoy some of the national region’s 800 km of bike paths.

It was a windy day, but we were given tips and tricks to make the most out of our hour kayaking and to stay safe.  Small note, there's no bathroom around the rental site, so make sure you go before you get there!
