How to Rent

  • 1. Walk in on weekends or reserve at least one day in advance on weekdays.

  • 2. Show a piece of government-issued ID and credit card to pay the deposit.

  • 3. Pick up your kayak, paddleboard, or bike from our location close to the NCC River House on the Ottawa River and Enjoy your ride!

  • 4. Pay the final bill when you return.

  • For your safety, all of our equipment is treated with disinfectants between each rental.

    Our original business—Location Escape with Paddleboard Rentals in Gatineau recently moved to better serve you at our NEW Location at the River House in downtown Ottawa. Here you can kayak,SUP (stand up paddleboard), or bike with Escape Rentals at this convenient location. 

    We’ve been renting bikes and running tours in Ottawa for 8 years at Escape Bike Tours and Rentals.

    Paddle down the Ottawa River past Gatineau-Ottawa’s most beautiful landmarks on a kayak, or SUP (stand-up paddleboard). Or explore Gatineau Park’s rivers and lakes for a more extended adventure.

    Alternatively, take to the trails with a bike rental and pedal through the city’s cool neighborhoods and landmarks. Enjoy some of the national region’s 800 km of bike paths.
